Reformation Carina Dress

Hi and welcome to my guide on how to dress like a French girl all summer '17 long!

Step One: You are going to need a wicker/straw bag, preferably with pom poms attached but not entirely necessary.

Step Two: Go out and get yourself a heeled sandal that lets you look put together because you are entirely capable of wearing a heel all day long yet feel comfortable because you still have a lot of support! The ultimate deceiver known as the heeled sandal!!!!

Step Three: A red messy lip to keep your look sassy yet minimal. No foundation, highlight or bronzer is required. I just curl my eyelashes and use my finger to put on the red lipstick! It is so easy and I feel clean and fresh all day long!

Step Four: The final step is to shop around for an effortless yet chic summer dress. I have been sticking with simple colors or patterns and letting a healthy summer glow shine through!

This last bit isn't a step but just my number one tip of all. Be healthy and happy! Clothes will fit better when you are healthy! You will feel better and more confident when you love your own skin and never forget to take time for yourself. I always invest in things that I know will bring me happiness and if it is a great dress from a great company and a nice glass of red wine then so be it!

This dress is from more than just any old clothing company, it is made by the brand Reformation. Their hashtag on Instagram is #jointhereformation and I strongly recommend that you check them out, I am so happy I did. They only use methods and manufacturers here in the US or abroad manufacturers and methods that are sustainable. It is sustainable fashion people! They are better for the environment and hopefully create a pathway for other brands to begin using better methods as well.

Majorelle x REDONE

If I were to dream up a loose and airy tie-crop top with the right amount of skin coverage and a whole lotta sass, this would be it! Daring to show a little sternum, I took the leap and ordered this top from ASOS US the other week. I had seen the brand Majorelle all over the bodies of sweaty humans at Coachella and could not stop thinking about it (in a non-creepy way). The jeans are REDONE and the shoes are from Zara! I am also on the hunt for a wicker/straw bag so I can feel like a cool French girl all summer!! CHEERS!

A lil' hip pop for good measure!

Red with For Love and Lemons x Lovers and Friends Wrap Skirt

I am going to pat myself on the back for this one, I feel so sexy and comfortable and have more clothes on compared to a lot of my latest posts. I feel like I am slowly redesigning my own perception of sexy and shying away from the normal mini skirt go-to and grabbing more tasteful less revealing pieces. The more I write on this blog, the more I am challenged to love what I buy and feel comfortable enough in it to create something from it. It has helped me become more confident in who I am, the way I want to dress and to shy away from the people who have no true interest in my life other than to make fun of me for doing something that brings me happiness. Okay, so small rant aside I truly love these items! The red crop top is so easy to throw on with a pair of high waisted jeans or a flowy wrap skirt (like this one)! The top is from For Love and Lemons and the skirt is from Lovers and Friends LA. I bought them both from the online shop called REVOLVE and if you haven't checked them out yet then you are missing out!!

Don't forget to not look where you are going in your new red crop top!!
